Eat Fresh, Live Well at Arden

With rows of homegrown produce and locally sourced items, one of the best places to indulge in healthful treats is at a local farmer’s market. With the hot season in Florida just around the corner, your chances to indulge in amazing food from the area are coming to an end – so take advantage while you still can! There are a number of markets near the unique master-planned community of Arden. We’ve rounded up a list of local farmer’s markets in the area. One of them is bound to become your favorite.


The West Palm Beach GreenMarket

Located on the scenic West Palm Beach Waterfront, this market is the area’s first green market and has grown to more than 80 vendors. Shop for local produce, plants, exotic flowers and herbs, plus baked goods, gourmet foods, teas and coffee. Parking is free in the Banyan Parking and Evernia city garages during market hours. The GreenMarket is dog-friendly and offers free activities for kids. The market also features live music, unlimited mimosas for $10, plus plentiful green space and seating. Cooking Light magazine named the West Palm Beach GreenMarket “The Best Greenmarket in Florida” in their listing of America’s 50 Best Farmer’s Markets, May 2015.

Shop and listen to live music under shaded walkways in this open-air market, located in Veterans Park, home to beautiful waterfalls. Besides organic fruits and vegetables, the market showcases beautiful potted plants, herbs, spices, pastries and desserts, plus a unique selection of jewelry and artisan-crafted items. There is free parking, and a continuous shuttle service operates from Village Hall/Lindsay Ewing and Veterans Park.
